Mike Roush and I have officially begun our bi-weekly animation competition! For each round, I create a 20 second music clip and then both of us go off and animate our own interpretation of the song. We can only use Flash for the animation, and have only the two weeks to finish it. It's really just a fun excercise to get us to experiment and hopefully put some cool visuals to music....

Thats Great! Awesome job on the both renditions of the same music.
Sweet! Both ideas are executed very well! I like the light squiggles running around and through the shapes on the first one, and the cawing bird on the second is my favorite part!

Thanks guys! Putting music and animation together is one of the coolest things ever (like peanut butter and chocolate!), and Mike and I are amped to just experiment and have fun with these shorts.

Gosh this is so impressive >_< It just looks like good old traditionnal animation. It would be impossible to tell it was made with Flash O_O You sure are two great animators ^^

Andre - I've found that Google video does keep the audio in sync way better than Youtube. Not sure why...
